Community ensembles are required to perform three (3) selections at their chosen class level as follows:
1. One (1) selection in a lyrical style.
2. Two (2) selections in a contrasting style – own choice
There is a Concert Band syllabus provided as a resource to assist directors should they choose to use it.
Note: Community Concert Bands are categorized using the same proficiency levels as school ensembles: B100 through B600, with the appended letter C to indicate “community ensemble”.
